Which is better, Larry Agran or Michael Schroeder? With the recent vote count showing Agran’s lacking popularity it’s time to evaluate the lesser of two evils.
Also, how prop 8 has undermined the black cause.
Don’t miss it.

The OC Liberal blog posted a complaint about my fact checking regarding Larry Agran. Seems they did not like what I had to say about old Larry, Baby Boy Gallinger, and the rest of the crew. I guess it’s not enough for the OC Liberal that Larry and crew won re-election or Obama is President.
The OC Liberal also pointed out that in their vast experience as broadcasters (and writers, and media gurus, and internet bloggers, etc, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah…) one should never insult their audience as I am accused of doing this past Friday. My dear friends, if you were offended or insulted because I thought you were an idiot for voting on Props 1A, 2, 3, and 12 (all of which take precious monies from the general fund and will eventually raise taxes) I don’t care and I make NO appologies. I stand by my statements…PERIOD.
Furthermore, other than The OC Liberal (who seems to have some strange attraction to me), I don’t think my audience was the least bit insulted, because they were smart enough to not vote for any of those props.
Finally, if your skin is so thin that you cannot handle some voice over the airwaves telling you, “you’re an idiot” then there is simply nothing I can do for you. I suppose anything I say could offend you and frankly, I’m not here to give you moral support, hold your hand, make you feel good, or any other touchy-feely thing you can come up with. I am here to call it as I see it. Plain and simple.
If that means I lose listeners, so be it. Which would you rather have though…an asshole that flip-flops and panders to you, or an asshole that takes a stand on an issue and tells you what’s really on his mind? I’ll take the latter any day of the week.
Click here to listen to last week’s show…but only if you think you can handle it.
What will Mrs. and Mr. Susan Schroeder do now that there is a democrat in the Whitehouse?
Is Conservatism dead?
How Larry Agran stole the election in Irvine…again.
I do not give props to you.
Some thoughts on the Carona trial I visited over the past couple of days.
Did you?
That’s right I’m talking to YOU. Get out there tomorrow and VOTE!!! This year is more important that ever. Stop complaining and do something about your crappy public servants. VOTE!!! VOTE!!! VOTE!!!
And listen to last week’s show as well, because there is great info about what’s really going to happen with your taxes if Obama is elected. Also fresh info from Stephen Smith of the Irvine Tattler about Larry Agran’s money laundering scheme.
With just a few days left until Obama gets elected, I thought I would use this show to touch on a couple of issues locally and nationally. First up, Michele Martinez will be in-studio to talk about her run against the incumbant and entrenched mayor of Santa Ana, Miguel Pulido. Second my Dad, James Jackson will be on the line to talk about how your taxes will be effected when Obama and a democratic majority are in power. And finally our good friend Stephen Smith of the Irvine Tattler will be in-studio to talk about Irvine City Councilman Larry Agran, his evil empire, and Irvine’s measures R and S.
You won’t want to miss this content filled show with information you will need before you vote next Tuesday.
I want to thank my old guest co-host Manoj Mahindrakar for coming in today to go over the props with me for the 2008 Election Special. You can listen to the entire show here. Here is the master list of how we are voting for the 2008 propositions, Measure J here in Orange County, and Measures R and S here in Irvine.
I have not gone into great detail as to why we are voting the way we are here. The bottom line to our No votes…it will raise taxes as most of these have to be paid out of the general fund. Listen to the show to get all of our insight.

Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow at 8 am for The OC Show 2008 Election Special with my old guest co-host Manoj Mahindrakar. We will go over all of the propositions and let you know how we are going to vote.
If there is anything that gets my blood boiling more it’s when a dumbass parent leaves their child in a hot car. However, my blood pressure usually goes off the charts when I see the difference in prosecution rates for the parents involved.
Case-in-point, today in the Register we see a story of Carla Alcantar-Chavez, 26, of Fullerton who was taken into custody for child endangerment after she left her 18 month old in her car for 50 minutes. Luckily her kid was not harmed.
Juxtapose that to UCI professor Mark J. Warschauer, 49, who in 2003 left his 10 month old son in the car for over three hours in 80 degree heat. The child died. Warschauer, an upstanding, white member of the community was spared instant arrest by the authorities. According to Irvine Police Department Lt. Jeff Love, “Based on the autopsy, I think we’ll know by next week if there will be child endangerment charges”. Warschauer was never arrested or charged for killing his son.
So let me get this straight. If you are educated, white, and really, really sorry, but dumb as a box of rocks (let’s face it folks, if you leave your child in a car you are fucking out of your mind stupid, regardless of education), then you get a free pass.
However, if you are any shade of brown, as is the case of Carla, you’re going down.
Think I am exaggerating? Check out the 2004 case of “John Michael Dunton, 42 of Anaheim, a paralegal who was described by friends as a doting father”. He left his 5 month old daughter in the car causing her death. Luckily for Dunton, his attorney cited the Warschauer case and spared his client any charges. My guess based on the last name, Dunton is probably white.
Unofficially I keep tabs on these kinds of cases and trust me, the black and brown people always get charged by local prosecutors. What does this say about our justice system? If we are going to prosecute these types of crimes, it should be done so evenly across the wide spectrum of colors and social status. In my opinion if you are so pre-occupied with life that you forget your own flesh and blood in a hot car you deserve prison time…period. Actually you deserve far worse, for dying in a hot car cannot be a pleasant experience.
This week you will not want to miss The OC Show. I am happy to tell you my old guest co-host Manoj Mahindrakar will be joining me for our 2008 Election Special. We will be going over the propositions and a couple of Irvine and OC measures. During the hour we will give you the straight scoop on each of the props and let you know which way we are voting. Afterwards we will post our voting guide. You won’t want to miss this very informative and entertaining 2008 Election Special.
